« Chantal and Charmaine were wonderful, warm and attentive to my every need. My room had a private balcony, walking steps to a glistening pool and lovely garden. My king bed was super comfortable and the hot cooked breakfast to order was such a comforting touch. Thank you for a wonderful stay!! »

« What A Wonderful World. We were made so amazingly welcome at the Van der Stel Manor in Stellenbosch! Large, comfortable room, bed with electric blanket for the cool, early spring evenings .. and chocolates too. Great shower. Outstanding breakfast, in a beautiful room in the historic house. We really enjoyed our stay: thank you so much to all the wonderful staff. Will definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to come back to Stellenbosch. Highly recommended to others. »

« Lovely property. Central location very walkable for the town. Parking on property. Good water, pressure in the showers and very comfortable beds. A small bottle of champagne to enjoy! The best breakfast of all the bed-and-breakfast we stayed at. We had eggs Florentine. We definitely stay here again. »

« We had a lovely couple of nights here whilst we explored the surrounding Stellenbosch area. We were travelling with our baby and nothing was too much trouble for the owners and staff - they had thoughtfully put a mosquito net over the cot they had set up for her and there was a high chair ready and set up every morning when we came down for breakfast - we really appreciated these touches. The property is a beautiful little oasis with a pretty garden and pool. There are also helpful amenities...

« Très bel endroit! Nous avons profité du dîner avec l’association des vins et c’était excellent. La chambre est spacieuse et propre. Le vignoble est superbe et les vins très bons. Ils nous apportent des œufs, des croissants et des fruits pour déjeune. C’est parfait! »

« Absolutely stunning place to stay. Our bedroom view was of the whole of Gordon’s bay. Superbly comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was a feast with perfectly poached eggs, sides, avocado, croissants, etc! Ate way too much!!! Add to that just how wonderfully welcoming and attentive our hosts were. More than that, they also gave excellent advice on our planned excursions. They love this area and want you to love it too! We’d stay here again in a heartbeat. »
