'The staff at the Riu palace were wonderful. plenty of drinks available. Plenty of food, but the property was a little outdated. The beach was not really good to swim in, but that is not the fault of the property. It’s just that in May. That’s what happens with the water in Mexico.
The rooms had an old tv you couldn’t see all channels but love the mini fridge and service. Some lights did not work. Elevator broke. We were told they had premium tequila like don julio. But that was not the case ...

'Not what I expected!! Food was mediocre. No selection at all. Cafeteria food to make it more easier understand!! Pool bar was slow at serving after tipping well. Shower drain was clogged, fan made noise and couldn’t sleep with it on!! I paid for an ocean view and the room next to me I think was a storage unit or something because it smelled like paint in my room and I got a headache. I won’t ever stay there again!! 'for a 4 star hotel I expect a lot more. staff was not able to provide an invoice with the company name, required for reimbursement (business travel). you have to pay credit first to have something written to your room. a blockage on the credit card was not possible in order to have everything the the room invoice. Receipts where not provided for whatever you ate or drank. not worth the money we paid but is was close to the congress. '

'This was the worst experience i paid for all inclusive .I tried to order 2 sandwiches for me and my quest .I was to that that was to much food .no swim up bar and the bartenders are rude and charge for semi premium alcohol .this was money that I could have kept .the food was horrible no meat offered at breakfast none.they don’t serve alcohol until after 11 am .if you are looking to party a little don’t go here you will be board out of your mind.worst vacation ever.'
