'Went on a Wednesday for one night and ended up booking a second night. Incredible swimming area. Breakfast was excellent and I overloaded on calories for a day of sitting in the sun, swimming, and spacing out. Plenty of space at the beach during the middle of the week; almost so much that it felt private. The music played by the restaurant was excellent. The sisig tacos at the beach restaurant is one of the best tacos I've ever had. The carne asada was grear as well. Fantastic place to relax....

'It was a WOW coming in to the island on the bargka boat. We were initially picked up at a wee dock in the countryside and rode down the mangrove lined river before entering the ocean. Food was great, room was lovely and staff were very attentive. We were here during the US/Iran war so it was very quiet. We had a palapa and beach chairs to ourselves. Chance to snorkel, kayak and paddle board. Pool was nice although the water was warm from the sun. The bats were so cool, seeing them all sleep in...

'Ouderwetse kamer in het 'nieuwe gedeelte'. Slecht bed, ouderwetse badkamer. Het hotel lijkt TOTAAL NIET op de foto's. Personeel is vriendelijk. Restaurant stelt niets voor, daar is het personeel slecht. De omgeving is niet bijzonder, ver weg. Het enige goede is dat er op loopafstand een Italiaans restaurant zit: Giuseppe. Ga daar heen!'

'An extraordinary hotel in the middle of the city. The entrance, the many colours and plants make the stay special. The room was fine although there was little water pressure in the bathroom. The food in the restaurant was fine but not special. The staff is friendly and helpful. A minus point though is the location, it is far from the city itself. '
