Herbergen in Filipijnen

'You get what you pay for. Good for a couple of days stay in Coron. The room gets extremely hot with no AC on and when you turn it on it’s extremely loud. The toilet is tiny and once you take a shower, the whole toiled soaks in water. A part from that, it’s central and well located.'

'I booked this hotel based on the beautiful photos and glowing descriptions on their website – what a mistake. The reality was a completely different story. The pictures showed clean, very neat room. but what I walked into was outdated, poorly maintained, and honestly felt dirty moldy place. The furniture was scratched and worn, the bed linens looked like they hadn’t been replaced in years, and the bathroom was cramped and had a weird smell.its was a non refundable room but will do my best to...

'Room was clean . Staff was great and breakfast was good.'

'Super friendly staff. Great ocean view'

'Staff was extremally rude and was not helpful at all and was not concerned about our problem either. At the beginning of trying to explain the problem to her, she took a phone call and just started talking. Extremally rude and will never return. '

'We werden niet verwacht, maar ook geen andere gasten. Eigenaar had accomodatie niet ingelicht over onze komst ( half jaar eerder geboekt). Op de site genoemde toiletartikelen (shampoo en zeep) en kluis niet aanwezig. Koude douche. Prijs/kwaliteit is goed, simpele accomodatie. Hostess zeer behulpzaam met uitstapjes en ontbijtwensen. Mooi uitzicht op tuin. Rustige omgeving. Niet ver van Underground River, Mangrove Bos en waterval.'

'Water pressure in the washroom was so low. Smell was bad in the washroom. In other word sanitation was bad.'

'It’s called “Bills Tourist Inn” so we thought they would have some info about anything. They couldn’t help with tours, any information about what and where to go and couldn’t even recommend a good restaurant, so we were on our own. Hot water would come and go and there wasn’t any WiFi to help us figure things out. We basically had to walk into the Main Street for everything anyway so we should have just stayed closer. '

'A quaint tropical oasis at only 1-2 kilometres away from the longest beach, 14.7 km, in the Philippines. Ton and his staff were always cordial and friendly. Lem, the chief, will make your breakfasts from scratch and it’s delicious. The huts and pool create an environment that relaxes your walks on the beach. I highly recommend this spot.'

'The room was dusty and the Air Con filter was dirty. I cleaned the Air Con filter myself in order to get the A/C blowing cool. When I came back at 10:30 PM in the evening the front gate of the hotel was locked. I had to pound n the gate to get the night watchman to open the gate. The first room that I was assigned did not have wifi. Even for the price it was a bad value, avoid if possible.'

'We'll never stay at this place again. Dirty and rude unacommodating staff.'

'Cute boutique resort where you can enjoy a quiet stay while only a short drive from beautiful beaches. The hosts make you feel like family and are very accommodating. Highly recommend!'

'The first room was very dirty, and the bed sheets were wet and.. Sticky?... The second room was *fine*, but still the walls and all surfaces were very dirty. '

'We booked this place on the fly. It was not a good fit for us and ended up booking another place before moving in. This place is excellent for scuba divers but not for us. It was our mistake and are willing to loose the booking price. If you find yourself in a similar situation we recommend the Blue Water resort up the road a bit.'

'Hotel had renovatie (geluidsoverlast) en zeer beperkt (geen gezellig) ontbijt mogelijk. Badkamer had enkel koud water mogelijkheid. Goed internet aanwezig. '

'Checking in was a bit of a hassle. The caretakers couldn’t find my reservation and then had to contact the owner of the property who also couldn’t find my reservation. When it was finally found they tried to place us in a different room with a shared bathroom than what I originally booked. I had to show my reservation again and say that I wanted the room I paid for that had the private bathroom. This was remedied but took some time. '

'The room was disgusting. The bathroom water was brown. The toilet wouldn’t flush and when we asked someone about fixing it they say it flushed and when we checked it wasn’t. We left. You can find way nicer hotels in el Nido for the same price or for even cheaper. This hotel is nasty and filled with bugs. Staff wasn’t helpful at all.'

'I won't hesitate going back here. It's a no frill hotel. It's not beachfront but centrally located to the food which is the next important thing to any vacation. It's relatively new. Room and bathroom are inexpensive but well maintained. I like that they provide complimentary hot and cold drinks. Special mention to Marie who assisted us during our checkin when our room was not yet available. The only suggestion I could think: parking for guests. As I understand, they intend to have more rooms.'
