Villa's in Lakes Peninsula

'Nice people on the reception offering walking guides just to use as soon as we told we were planning to do some walking in the Lake District. The rooms were spaceous and very clean. In the morning on request freshly baken croissants or oatmeal During the evenings we used the DVD service for free. You can pick one and play a movie in the room.'

'The whole experience was amazing, all of staff where brilliant and relaxed. The food for breakfast was exactly what you wanted, the room was clean and big enough for 4 and the hot tub was clean, warm and natural. I cannot imagine us not going back.'

'Exactly what we needed for a couple days away. The downsides being the provided toilet paper was useless and heated towel rail didn’t seem to work. On the positive side, bed was super comfy, shower was nice and hot, great after a hike. Complimentary breakfast was very simple but also a surprise to us, better than nothing. The room as a whole was a decent size, clean and just what we were looking for'

'Great base for walking in Langdale, you go straight out of the back door and up to Stickle Tarn. Excellent breakfast with good choices, a good selection for the evening meal and the Old DG hotel 15 minutes walk away if you fancy a change. Nice lounge for the wet days. 100% recommend'
