'This was our fifth stay at the Netherwood, having first discovered it in 2022. We have stayed in different (sea view) rooms each time and none has disappointed. The hotel has a lovely country house feel, having originally being a Bolton businessman's country residence, with lots of original features (wood panelling, grand fireplaces, stained glass windows, etc). 'What a lovely hotel with such good energy. There’s a serenity to this place. I thoroughly enjoyed the amenities from a swim in the pool, hot sauna, hanging out in the terrace and dinner at The Living Space. The property itself is beautifully designed. A place to stroll and soak in the peacefulness. After dinner I took such a stroll and while everyone else was dining I was able to spend some time on the tree swings by myself. 'At last, a hotel that ticks all the boxes! You know, however good the hotel, there’s always something not quite right. Not here. Warm welcome, polite and attentive staff, first call food (the breakfast is amazing), comfortable bedroom, on site parking. Definitely staying here again'
