'Excellent staff! They helped me make my first ever waffle!! '

'I had to ask 3 times for the pull out beds sheet to be changed in which it was never done. We did get moved to another room how we both toilets did not want to flush. When I let Front desk know she stated it was could be because if it’s about to rain there’s sometimes plumbing issues. Toilet of course would not flush the next morning after using it and maintenance had to come up with a snake to snake it. Spoiled milk was served at breakfast'

'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'

'This was the second time I stayed here this year while visiting my daughter. The staff has always been super friendly, the room clean, the breakfast always had a few warm items and was included in the room price so who can complain! Con’s, the room air conditioning blew very hard and cold at times, and it took a couple of times to tap my key to get into my room, but that could have been user error. Overall I enjoy staying here, which is why I chose to stay here once again.'

'The lady at the front desk gets 5 stars! The hotel was apparently oversold and she had no rooms that had not already been paid for. But when she saw that my reservation was also prepaid, she found me a good room and said, "I will have to deal with this later." She did not need the added stress but was very kind and helpful through it all. My only issue which is no fault of anyone there but the water pressure was barely enough for a decent shower. And the hot water ran out after about 5...

'This hotel sits within a couple of feet from a major highway. The windows are paper thin and you can hear every single car pass by the windows ALL NIGHT LONG. We turned on the fan hoping that would drown out the noise but it did not. There is a smell in the hallways that reminded us of animals. That smell was not in our room, however, when we turned on the fan to drown out the highway noise a musty smell filled the room. We did not stay the two nights we booked. we left the next morning. 'We had to change rooms 3 times!!! The first room we were given a key to was Occupied!! The second room, the fan in the bathroom sounded like a jet running!!! The 3rd room ..the refrigerator didnt work..it was Horrible!'

'There is a train nearby and you can hear the train pretty often. We didn't mind, but I think it's worth mentioning since it was pretty loud and pretty often.'

'No breakfast foods, only mediocre coffee. Very skimpy on toiletries. The mattress slumped and the pillows were very small. '

'The elevator was constantly out of service and I was on the fourth floor. This is not a good thing when you have a bad back.'
