Lodges in Nieuw-Zeeland

'The stay in the stables is poor, even for a low-budget version of the castle. The rooms are very noisy, not only noises from the guests next door (even if they do it quietly) but also from the noisy staff who start preparing breakfast at just after 6:00 am. Lots of loud talking and the radio on. The breakfast itself is good, but the breakfast location (the stable) is cold, (coincidentally?) the heating is partly defective, especially when the stable doors open on both sides because guests also...

'Kamers waren erg mooi, personeel was zeer behulpzaam en aardig. Restaurant was goed. Alle voorzieningen waren goed geregeld'

'More than just your average motel! Rooms have many personal touches that you don’t usually find and are newly and attractively furnished. Spotlessly clean. Owners are very personable and obviously take great pride in their establishment. Useful pub next door for food. Highly recommended.'

'Such a beautiful property. The room and added perks (heated towel rack and bathroom floors) were second to none! The staff was so friendly and focus on making it a perfect stay. We wish we stayed more than one night to take advantage of dinner and amenities. We drove from picton on way to auckland so arrived late and left early! If we ever come back we will stay longer for sure!!'

'I love the spa room for a good soak after a hard day. The staff members are always friendly. The room is alway very clean and has toiletries.'

'Outstanding service, gorgeous property, and heavenly room. Strongly recommend!'

'Great service re car parking'

'Kerst gevierd in het restaurant met heel veel jonge mensen uit de regio. '

'Fantastic place. Wonderful rooms and the best host team we have ever experienced!'

'Overall, it was a pleasant stay. However, it needs to be clearer that the lower-priced options have a shared bathroom (the pictures of the bathroom should not be included in the room pictures). We were able to upgrade rooms, and it was much nicer. Be mindful that there isn't usually a person at reception and if you want to get in contact, you need a New Zealand based number.'
