'The room was brand new! The kitchen had pretty much everything you needed if you wanted to cook! The place was quiet and the cleaning crew did a great job '

'Hotel was literally brand new and I loved how good everything smelled - new and clean. Staff was wonderful. Only issue was towels and sheets were so new that all the fuzzies came off on us. They need to be washed a bit more but smelled clean so we’ll take it! Parking is near a dispensary so that was not too great either…..but the hotel, worth ever penny!'

'If you are not familiar with the area, when the hotel website says there is no parking, it means that you cannot even drive up to the hotel to unload your stuff. It's on a pedestrian only "street," so be prepared to haul your things from the parking garage to the hotel. If you are checking in late/after hours, don't bother walking around the block looking for a hotel specific entrance...there is a teeny tiny sign in the vestibule to the right of the entrance to the bar/restaurant... push the...

'We started out with problems from the online check in. They said we were in #9 but in was occupied, so they set us up in #6, then the code wasn’t working to get in. After that things were good, till we left and checked out at 830 then in a couple hours later they said we didn’t check out. There systems needs some work. Great location'

'We had a wonderful stay at the Essex Street Inn. We loved the cleanliness of the Inn. The Continental breakfast was just what we needed. Good selection of breakfast choices. Hope the Inn never changes the breakfast choices. Will go back.'

'Goede suite met twee slaapkamers voor gezin met grote kinderen. Niet echt modern maar ook nog niet gedateerd. Beetje tussenin. De bedden zijn goed en de kitchenette met koelkast is een prettig plus. Wifi op de kamer inbegrepen, evenals het ontbijt. De ontbijtruimte is wat klein, we waren er gelukkig vroeg bij. Er is een zwembad, maar dat ligt zowat op het parkeerterrein en nodigt niet echt uit om te gaan poedelen. Vriendelijk personeel. Dichtbij de snelweg maar gelukkig niet pal ernaast.'
