'Very lucky to have scored a reservation during our holiday stay in Japan. The hotel will organize ride from Gora Station to hotel. Though a short ride it is much appreciated with children and luggage. The private in room open air onsen is such a treat for families. Beautiful amenties - pool, gym and male/female onsens that swap gender in the middle of the night so if you stay longer than one night you can experience a different outdoor onsen view. 'We had a great stay! The onsen experience and breakfast are amazing, and the the hotel provides all the details you can hope for. Because of the way the hotel is built, and the beautiful garden, it is a must-do especially during fall. We should have stayed longer!'

'The property is really beautiful; gorgeous views, stunning room, and the private onsen is incredible. Absolutely no feedback on the room, grounds, staff, property, etc all amazing! It’s nice that dinner and breakfast are included given that you are quite a walk uphill from Gora and other restaurants. The food is presented in a beautiful setting and the service was wonderful. That being said, the food itself left much to be desired and given the price, we expected it to taste better. '

'This felt like a luxury apartment with a private onsen, large tv and bbq. The location itself is near a train station and several bus stops. Please be aware that this property is on a mountain so getting to those might stretch your calf muscles. Lovely location!'
