Positief: Netheid, voorzieningen en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
The room was clean and the spa and private baths were lovely. I enjoyed my stay, but I was not happy about my first impression of the staff, just one person in particular that checked me in.
She was not really friendly, had difficulty understanding that I was checking in and that my friend was there to help me because I don’t know any Japanese and it was my first time. I was uncomfortable to ask for help or questions from her. Upon checking out the following morning, I watched other guests get a better explanation for how to use the facilities, and that they could also rent a yukata.
Other than this individual during my first night, the rest of the staff have been nice and friendly. Still, it could really take one person to ruin your day. I may return in the future, and I hope the customer service improves going forward for the next person staying at this ryokan. Thank you.
