'It is a tradition in our family to start a visit to Scotland in Court Residence. We have always liked it a lot, but this time we were disappointed. I booked through hotels.com and ordered (and paid for) their best room (The duplex). Unfortunately we did not get it. Then the breakfast, which is as usual some products on a breakfast basket and fridge in the room. Best before date of the bread was few days in the past. The milk in the fridge was a leftover from previous people.... So breakfast...

'Really nice place, great location!'

'Zeer prettige ontvangst. Jammer dat er geen ontbijt bij zit.'

'Great location and very well appointed for our stay.'

'Eerst een minder wat betreft kamer. Dank zij personeel is het probleem goed opgelost.'

'Spacious appartment very close to the castle, the royal mile, Victoria st. Had a great stay with our family of 5. Though situated in a rather busy area (and close to a stripclub) we thought it was quiet inside and slept well. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would certainly recommend (or come back).'

We booked a Boulevard Apartment for a little extra space, but this turned out to be a big mistake. The Boulevard Apartments are directly next to the building works, and therefore experience the most amount of noise. The drilling was so loud that we had to raise our voices to hear each...

'Perfect location to see the sites in Old town.'

'Mooie ligging. Leuke kamer. Vriendelijk personeel en een goed ontbijt'
