« This little gem of a property was perfect for a long weekend getaway. It was close enough to both lakes and parks that we were able to explore so much all in a 30 minute radius. I have never stayed at such a well stocked place. Amanda quite literally thought of everything from chargers to extra sandals for the hot tub. The hot tub was the cherry on top and a great way to relax at the end of the night. »

Debra was fantastic, checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. The main house was clean and well equipped with high-speed wifi for the couple of meetings I wasn't able to get out of. « Beautiful location in the forest right next to the lake. It’s a very warm and cozy feeling. Just walk out the back door and you are within several feet of the shoreline. The only concern is to be aware of the stairs waI would recommend for anyone who wants to be on the lake and in a forest setting. Just walk down the steps from the parking area and into another world. The shoreline is literally steps from the back door. »

« This house is even better than described. I have rented many homes that say they have a fully stocked kitchen, but Lone Retreat means it! Quality - and quantity - of everything you need to enjoy homemade meals during your stay. High-end appliances and coffeemakers, too. The beds are all comfortable; the linens and towels are good quality, too.
