"Les chambres avec vues sur le Nil offre une vue exceptionnelle sur Assouan depuis la coline sur laquelle est construit l'hôtel. Chambre spacieuse, confortable, correctement équipée avec un espace salon et une salle de douche agréables. L'hôtel offre une piscine de taille moyenne mais qui pourra être suffisante lors de grosses chaleurs. Autrement, la piscine de l'hôtel Basma juxtaposée (descendre les petits escaliers communiquant) vous offrir un autre cadre tout aussi agréable. L'offre petit déjeuner est toutefois assez maigre et peut (doit) être revue pour offrir une meilleure expérience. Pour finir, un espace détente en plein air avec sofa est proposé, agréable en fin de soirée après des bonnes visites."

"Belle vue sur les chambres donnant côté ouest, belle piscine, trajet gratuit en bateau pour rejoindre l'île agréable. Tout le reste est à revoir : - chambres salles, draps douteux - coupures d'électricité, problème de disjoncteur voire court circuit dans la chambre, - 50% de l'hôtel est à l'abandon total ou en état de délabrement avancé. Les options "chalet" n'existent en réalité pas. Uniquement les chambres du 5e étage sont refaites. Nous avons du changer 3 fois de chambre lors de notre séjour..."

"Wow…!!!!!! Absolutely fantastic, and a must!!! We chose Dolby Kato because of the colours, and location in Aswan after a Luxor to Aswan cruise, not realising how special the Nubian Village was in itself. Right from the start, the communication was excellent, including advice to make sure the taxi would make it all the way to the front door (which he did, despite being unsure). Check-in was great, efficient, courteous and welcoming. The beautiful room was ‘refreshed’ literally as we walked in - it was super clean already. Plenty of excursions are on offer, so though we used the hotel as a transit for one night, I will consider it as a destination in itself next time. Finally, the restaurant. Another WOW!!! We stayed in for dinner as we arrived late and had an early start. The view of the Nile and over the boat ‘harbour’ ferrying groups coming to visit the village was vibrant and fun. And the food…superb! Though we ate well our whole time in Egypt, this proved to be our best meal (you don’t have to stay to eat there by the way, so stop by!!). Cooked from fresh and sooo tasty!! They arranged an airport transfer for the morning which was no hassle, providing a packed breakfast. All in all, a true gem in location, comfort, service, good, basically everything. I’d strongly suggest adding it to your itinerary if you’re in Aswan, I wish we could have stayed longer."
