'We had a lovely New year's stay in this cottage, going for coastal walks and getting cosy by the fire when we came back. The cottage is really comfortable, we loved the heated bathroom floors and the well equipped kitchen. We also enjoyed playing a bit of darts and table tennis in the games room. The hosts were so helpful when there was a slight issue when we arrived.. it was really quickly sorted. Highly recommend!'

'Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. 'I called a few days ahead of our stay to let them Know that my daughter was celebrating her 16th birthday on that day and if they could do anything special for this. They said they couldn’t as they only provide champagne for adults and they are very busy so won’t have time. I suggested maybe a small card and a few chocolates just as a welcome gesture. "Schone kamer, alleen was de ventilator zo vies dat er weinig verkoeling van kwam. Schoongemaakt en daarna deed ie het wat beter. Wel nodig, want het was erg warm op de kamer. Boven het restaurant, met 's ochtends een uitgebreid ontbijt(warm en koud). Parkeren gratis achter het hotel. Alleen het wasbakje in de badkamer was superklein."
