'Heel leuke vakantie gehad. Het is een ouder huis waardoor plafonds wat laag zijn voor lange mensen. Prima alles in orde en schoon.'

'A lovely property in a lovely location. In the countryside but a short drive to all of the local attractions. Stayed for a long weekend and would definitely return. The garden gets good sunshine and is mostly fake grass so doesn't get muddy if it rains. The cottage was clean and well equipped. The walk in shower cubicle is in a small ensuite but there's an over bath shower in the bigger main bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and there were tea bags and coffee pods already there for us.'

'We enjoyed staying at 5 Shadycombe cottage. Owner sent lots of useful information by email shortly before stay. The cottage was compact, clean and well equipped. The bathrooms were a little compact. The cottage location and proximity to Salcombe allowed us to walk into town. We found fabulous art store, along with a great bakery for breakfast goods and pasties, in addition fudge, chocolate and ice cream stores all very yummy. 'Moving to Chittlehampton,were looking for somewhere to stay for the first few weeks nearby and Prospect Cottage was perfect. We felt at home immediately, it has a cosy atmosphere with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The view looking out of the cottage onto the square is quite charming with the Church at the top the Bell Inn at the bottom and beautiful cottages in between. 'We stayed 3 days here. We were mostly out of the home but it is on a very quiet street that when we slept we didn’t have any issues of traffic or other people. The stairs can be difficult so it you have stairs be prepared. They are a beautiful set of stairs. You are in waling distance of multiple restaurants. The host was VERY accommodating and assured us when we arrived early. It was very much appreciated!'

'We had a very relaxing 3 night stay at Driftwood Cottage. Didn't manage to get out on the paddleboards as tides and weather conspired against us but read books and went on some lush walks'

'The property was ideally placed with a fantastic view from all windows. The walk into town was easy and took approx 10 mins and the lack of parking at the property was not a problem. We found on street parking approx 5 minute walk away. I would suggest that check in instructions include the fact that the key safe immediately on the RHS of the door is no longer in use and the current one is attached to the adjacent wall. It would have saved a bit of hassle!'

'Lovely cottage, very comfortable and homely. The road is narrow, quite busy and there are no pavements, so walking along the road can be a bit hazardous. The walk along the edge of the estuary is pretty muddy and requires boots or wellies.'

'We had a very good holiday at the cottage. It was even more beautiful then the pictures showed. It is very tranquil, surrounded by meadows and a nice creek, but with the village easily in distance. Contact with the owners was very pleasant! Our children were sad to leave (especially their own gaming room with all the games available). Thank you so much for letting us stay in your home.'

'Het huisje is perfect voor twee personen. Alles is in zeer goede staat. Het lijkt alsof het gisteren is gebouwd. Aan alles is gedacht: internet, brandveiligheid, hygiene, gemak, etc. Kortom een plek om confortabel tot rust te komen. Een goede plek voor de auto. De gastheer is zeer attent en behulpzaam. Op een half uur lopen is een goed restaurant aanwezig en een klein winkeltje, dat gerund wordt door vrijwilligers. Langs de Teign is een ander restaurant met een bijzondere ligging. Het huisje...

'Nice neigbourhood, shops and urban restaurants closeby, not touristic, close to waterfront with nice small beach (no sand), caves that are worth to visit nearby. Accomodation clean, well equiped, towels present, kitchen with coffee, salt, oil etc present. We (couple with daughter) enjoyed our stay very much at this accomodation and location.'
