« The lodge was exactly as described. Surrounded by a large green garden and woodland and hedgerow. It is off the beaten track but this made it perfect for a quiet getaway. Waking in the morning to see a deer grazing was an absolute treat. Also got visited by a Pheasant as well as a very healthy looking fox!! A previous review mentioned some dodgy Wifi, but after bumping into the lovely owner of the property it got resolved, so absolutely no complaints at all. Did not go there for Wifi anyway!...

« Had a few communication problems, delays in replying and incorrect telephone number. Despite that, the property is lovely & ideally placed for town centre and beach. Stairs and parking/unloading of car may prove an issue for some people, just to be aware. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. »

« Beautifully furnished flat with many thoughtful touches like a sweet welcome package, guide books about the region and even a little fossil hunting kit! We took my parents here for a long weekend and really enjoyed our stay. »
