'Room was exceptional y clean. Very very hot fan was supplied but did absolutely nothing (it was the hottest few days) Only one window could open and that was a maximum of 3 inches We will book again but study the facilities much closer . Slightly misleading when you read the descriptions where it says "hotel apartments" Staff were very friendly and cheerful'

'The property is in a very good location, a very short walk to both the beach and the back beach in a quiet street. Everything in the property is of a high standard. We had a lovely stay and would definitely rebook if in the area again.'

'Clean, modern and spacious lodges with (very hot!) hot tubs. Good facilities and plenty of activities on site, although most aimed at older children/adults. Restaurant offering was limited for those with dietary requirements but shop stocked the essentials and lodges had all you need to self-cater. Would recommend and go again.'

'The place is spacious and cosy. There is a small playground where kids can spend their time.'

'We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place.'

'Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning.'
