« Le lit est confortable. La salle de bain est bien, mais l'évier a peu d'espace pour ranger la brosse à dent, le matériel de rasage, etc. À deux, c'était difficile. La cuisine est séparée de la chambre, mais elle est bien équipée. La nuit, les grenouilles peuvent être bruyantes (mon épouse a eu du mal à s'endormir au début). »

« I liked the atmosphere of the place. Very close to the Boys and Girls( my grandson played baseball there). The only thing I didn’t like was parking reverse in. Other than that perfect! Even the roosters and koki frogs didn’t bother me! »

« If you are looking for a beautiful and quiet place to get away from it all this is it! As we opened the door of the cottage we were like wow this is beautiful and very clean! A tray filled with a variety of fruit and a loaf of banana bread (the banana bread was so yummy!) was waiting for us on the table as well as a welcome note from our hosts Laurel and Lani. « We spent 3 nights at Raul’s guesthouse which felt more like a very spacious condo! It is safe with a gated driveway and a backyard that never ends! The fruit trees, the flowers and the landscape are absolutely stunning. Now for interior, there are only positives critiques to be said here. Everything is high end, they provide you with so many things that it is easy to cook your own meals! They have lots of pots and pans, dishes etc… but no condiments. Every inch of this place is taken care of....

« The property is impressive and breathtaking. Directly behind it is huge cliffs overlooking the ocean. We saw several whales back there. You walk through their deep (acres) backyard and come out to this shaded oasis. Be aware there is no beach access, you are on a cliff with no beach. Below the water rages on a rocky shore. « I loved staying at Maggie’s studio in Hilo. It was really clean and spacious. There were plenty of parking and I like the usage of having a kitchen and the convenience of a washer and dryer. I would come back and stay here again the next time I’m back at the big island. »
