Woonboten in Southcentral Alaska

'I had high expectations for this resort based on its reputation and beautiful location, but the guest service experience was disappointing. Housekeeping was inconsistent. Our room was not serviced to the standard expected for a resort of this caliber, and it often felt difficult to get basic issues addressed. The biggest problem was communication. Guest Services almost never answered the phone. When calls went unanswered, the voicemail mailbox was full, making it impossible to leave a message...

'This is the nicest place to stay in Whittier, for sure, but it's not perfect. I loved our view, but the we're summer basic cleaning and maintenance issues. Also, the retina have blinds that are not room darkening, and one of ours didn't even go to the bottom of the window.'

'It was a lovely place to stay, nice room, good shower, clean. We have been there for 2 days but we have only a towel for 1 day. Because there is no staff at the accomodation you cannot ask anybody.'

'This hotel was under construction when we checked in . But the staffs were extremely helpful in everything. There is no elevator in the property but the staffs helped us carrying up & down our luggages . They even helped us loading our car . The rooms were very clean and the staffs made sure we had everything we need for our stay . Our special thanks goes to Mike & Amanda who made our stay very comfortable & memorable also .'

'Host provided good directions and check in instructions. We had a very nice stay. The cabin was clean, quiet and we felt very safe. The host was very responsive and helped with heater instructions There was an electronic bug zapper inside the cabin which came in handy for the mosquitoes. The host was very friendly.'

'Ligt op een prachtige locatie. Cabin was schoon en ruim. Badkamer wel wat krap, maar modern. Helaas niet bij alle cabins privéparkeren. Laden en lossen kan gelukkig wel bij de cabin.Fijn dat er een restaurant bij zit. Wel wat beperkte keus en erg prijzig. Personeel allemaal vriendelijk en servicegericht.'
