« The location is amazing, so close to the beach with gorgeous sunsets, and lots of food options. Everything is new, clean, and beautiful. I will point out there is currently construction directly outside… literally 30 ft across the street which was somewhat annoying. The parking stalls were a pain. I had to climb over the seats to get out due to how narrow the spots are.Be warned if you plan to use the sleeper sofa… the supporting boards kept slipping and falling down while using the bed so it...

« The home was beautiful on the inside, and the host was communicative. I’ll echo some previous reviews and say that the parking situation is not ideal. The gate is very narrow, and as it is shared parking, it takes some maneuvering to get in and out of the driveway. Otherwise, this is a nice home, great location as far as »

« Great house in a nice little neighborhood. Had great single car parking and the yard was perfect! The interior was just as good and was super clean! Great TV’s, comfy beds, fully stocked w all the towels, linens and blankets you would need. Great place, super nice host who lives in back. Felt private and secure. Will be back. »

« The home was simply beautiful! Outside the home does no justice to what the inside looks like!!! Well kept, clean and those beds were made in heaven!!! Jeremy is an excellent host! We were finally able to settle down Sunday and enjoy the pool and spa. Would definitely book again! »

« There was an odor that smelled of garbage throughout the place for the entire time we were there . Host offered no explanation for the smell and we were told to turn on the air conditioning. It seemed the place was unoccupied for a long time. Location was on a busy street. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean.Overall very disappointed. »

« Casita Gundry is the absolute best home away from home and one of my favorite staycation spots in Southern California. Lars offers so many thoughtful touches to enhance each stay, from local pastries, eggs, and homemade cookies awaiting me at check-in to a spacious bathtub caddy with room for a book and a (provided) scented candle to helpful recommendations of local restaurants and hangouts. « Location in Hawthorne which is not considered the safest area. However, the neighborhood was relatively quiet and I did not feel unsafe. Good ac unit in the bedroom. Room was clean and fully appointed. It is a shared bathroom and overall very simple accommodations, but also very inexpensive. The owner allowed me to park my car in his driveway which was very nice because there isn’t too much street parking available. »

« My stay was great, and Elizabeth was a great and welcoming host! It was the perfect little home for just myself, visiting California for the first time. The property itself sits with a couple other units on site, but each unit is private and separate from the others. To find my unit once on the property I couldn't seem to figure out from the VRBO directions but I messaged Elizabeth and she guided me thoroughly on the phone. "Hôtel moderne, très belle chambre confortable et spacieuse. Ascenseurs efficaces, hall d’entrée avec canapés et prises de recharge en cas d’attente. Service de navette pour l’aéroport super et petit déjeuner correct. Bon emplacement vis à vis des loueurs de voiture, car j’ai pu rendre la voiture et revenir à pied. Petit bémol, l’arrivée à l’hôtel en voiture n’est pas simple car il n’y a pas d’emplacement pour décharger mais il faut entrer dans le parking, passer à l’accueil et valider le ticket pour avoir 30 minutes gratuites juste le temps de décharger et repartir. Pour info la pizzeria et la Sandwicherie à côté sont très bonnes !"
