'In het echt is dit Hotel nog veel mooier dan men volgens de foto's op internet zou verwachten. Het is een hotel met een enorm luxe inrichting, en met een daarbij behorende service en restaurants. er zijn twee grote restaurants. de een japans en de ander een Frans restaurant, welke wel aan de prijzige kant zijn. de twee restaurants hebben een fantastisch uitzicht over het meer (lake) Ashi. Het hotel is prima te bereiken met Hakone Highway bussen welke in ons geval vertrok vanuit het sinjuku...

'No Wifi access on the first day and only at the lobby. Only few staffmembers could speak some English. Unfriendly staff. Anouncments Etc almost only in Japanese. Swimmingpool closes at 4 pm. A part of our room's sealing was only 185cm high!!!This hotel is clearly aiming at Japanese guests only. Location is convenient.'

'This was our third time staying at Hakone Gora KARAKU, and it’s still one of our favorite places in Hakone. The location is super convenient—just a short walk from Gora Station. We booked a room with a semi-open private onsen tub, which my wife really enjoyed. I spent more time in the public baths with sauna and steam (they switch each night). 'El apartamento es espectacular. Súper bonito, moderno y ubicado en un enclave inmejorable, veíamos el Tori de la Paz en frente cuando se disipaba la niebla.... Impresionantemente bonito. 'Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Locatie super, aan het meer met uitzicht op Mount Fuji. Kamer zeer schoon maar wel gedateerd. Verder wel alles aanwezig wat men nodig had. WiFi van prima kwaliteit. Mogelijkheid om op het complex in yukata rond te lopen en indien gewenst souvenirs e.d. te kopen. Diner en ontbijt van goede kwaliteit met wederom zeer vriendelijk personeel. Onsen waren erg fijn. Meer dan genoeg ruimte om vooraf te douchen e.d. Tevens was de hygiëne goed op orde en was het vaak niet zo...
