'While driving to the hotel, we thought we would end up by the containers in the harbour but a turn to the right brought us to this charming core painted one storey hotel. Lovely and friendly hosts - our room overlooking the yacht marina was fantastic as we had a balcony to enjoy the views. 'Nieuwe accommodatie. Vijf sterren niet helemaal waard. Slechte afvoer in de douche, en zwembad nog niet verwarmd. We arriveerden al iets eerder op de middag. Konden koffers alvast afgeven maar de receptionist checkte niet of de kamer al beschikbaar was.'

'A true farm house with chickens and fresh fruit trees. The house and our bedroom and bath were well furnished and clean. The owners were warm and very nice and had fresh fruit from the farm for us. The views down the hill were beautiful as well. We had returned from Golden Bay and heading west the next day and this being in Hope saved us a good 20 minutes being west of Nelson. Definitely recommend. '

'The staff was amazing at this property. They were kind and helpful. They worked together well as a team and worked hard to truly make us feel welcome. The food was so good!! The room was really bright and the view was phenomenal. I recommend taking the water taxi from Picton, but the drive was scenic. Thank you Punga Cove for a memorable stay. '

'Our room was very nice in many respects, luxurious even. Still we would not choose to stay here again, because the couple who manage the place showed very little flexibility and sense of service when they denied our request (that we put in after one day) to cut our stay at the hotel short from four to three nights. The lady literally immediately pulled out the fine print of the agreement and told us that "from a business standpoint", she couldn't allow this. Very disappointing and, as you can...
