Their restaurant has been damaged but they let us know that in advance and continued to provide excellent meals at the spacious dock or delivered to the room. 'Amazing apartments overlooking the marina and just minutes to the interislander ferry! The apartment was spotlessly clean, the bed was super comfortable and all amenities were provided. So close to a range of restaurants and bars. Highly recommended! '

'Voor ons was dit voornamelijk een praktische stop, gezien de veerboot. Maar het was verrassend welkom, gezellig en schoon! Het leek meer een bungalowparkje dan een hostel. We hebben bijzonder goed geslapen! Al met al boven verwachting en een absolute aanrader. Picton zelf vonden wij een prima plaatsje met een supermarkt, pinautomaat en enkele restaurantjes en kroegjes, maar erg schokkend/ groot is het verder niet.'

'After our longest walk on the 4 day Queen Charlotte Track, this resort was a delight to end with. The room was comfortable and the shower hot. They had a lovely bar area for a pre-dinner drink and dinner was delicious. We found the water conservation and rainwater use fascinating and applaud their efforts. 'I had an amazing stay here during my five-week Oceania trip. My first night was unexpected—I needed an ambulance to the local hospital after a fall on the ferry—but the staff at Bay Vista were incredibly attentive throughout the whole ordeal. They checked on me during the ambulance visit and followed up the next day to make sure I was doing okay (four sutures along my hairline).
