'This property is beautiful. We stayed in the villas. The lobby is always busy with fun and entertainment. The casino is vibrant. My son enjoyed the night club. My only complaint in the menu is very American. It’s American bar food. They should have some local food. But visually the lobby is spectacular. The pools are well done. The cabana minimums are a bit much for two people $395. But there are plenty of free chairs. Drinks are pricey. '

'I took my husband and my two teens to Rio Mar. We loved the staff, the food was great especially at Iguanas. The rooms were beautiful and our view of the rainforest was gorgeous. We will definitely be back. I want give special kudos to Ana at the reception. She was always available to answer every question we had and was super hospitable. Also our waitress Leeza at the breakfast buffet. She gave us so many great suggestions, and was so attractive. We are looking forward to coming back. '

'Nice property with clean rooms and friendly staff. Had an issue with new restaurant that was recently added but maitre’d was very helpful and addressed our issue. Also liked that there were quite a few dining options within walking distance of the resort. Also, the beach and pool areas were great. Overall, I’d recommend this place '
