Luxe hotels in Panhandle Plains

'Upon arrival at 5pm we were told our room was not ready.and then we were given a room that was a category lower than we had paid for and we had to point it out to the staff after we had unpacked our suit cases ad were then switched to the room category we had paid for. No apologies. The shower door silicone gasket was broken. Otherwise great facility, staff is very friendly. They have a very cute speakeasy in the basement good food, pleasant staff other than the one at the front desk who seems...

'Not impressed with the room or amenities for the price. I felt penalized for not being Hilton Member. Was told the reason we were charged $4 for bottled water was because we were not members it would have been free otherwise. Felt forced to use Valet parking. Was given the option to use the back parking lot and when we did, there’s no entrance from the backside of the building. Had to walk all the way around Glad we didn’t use anything else!! Not the way to get someone to become a member!!!Paid...

'Nice, spacious room with good amenities. Check in is by texted code as the hotel consists of a few rooms on the 3rd floor of Pioneer Condos, so there were no interactions with staff and no daily housekeeping, which was absolutely not a problem for our short stay. Location in downtown is very quiet, but there is a restaurant in the building, a brewery in the building, and an excellent coffee shop (Nashwell) across the street. Parking was easy as was getting around Lubbock. '

'It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen did not have any glasses. The website says it serves breakfast in the morning, but there was no breakfast. There is nobody at the desk, you have to talk to a kiosk, but somebody did appear on the kiosk to let me know that there is no breakfast there, you have to go to the hotel next-door for breakfast. Went next-door and they had stopped serving breakfast. Had. I known breakfast next-door was in a certain timeframe I would’ve gone earlier....
