'Wonderful location, which we chose as a base to explore other coastal towns nearby such as Camden and Belfast. The hosts were lovely, and the gourmet 3 course breakfast served daily was simply amazing. The home was charming, and cozy and filled with everything that made the stay delightful. Walking across the street to a lobster dinner on the water was an added bonus. We’d love to return to the Spouter Inn. '

'We drove up from Maryland to view the eclipse. Drove from the property up to Houlton on Tuesday morning for that purpose. Didn't get to hang around the property much because we were on the go constantly, but it was as advertised, comfortable, clean and easy access. The only real negative in my view is the close proximity to the main road.'

'We were looking for kayak-friendly owners and property, and scored on both! Sweet spot in a protected cove, access to other coves, islands and river nearby, and open ocean 3 miles south. Easy launching from their dock and a dedicated float that allows easy in and out. Shannon and Gil are great hosts; they arranged lobster from son’s catch one day and cooked it for us! 'Loved the well appointed space. Had a desk chair and folding table in the closet that we used as a desk. The variety of outdoor spaces is fantastic and are appropriate for a variety of weather. Nice grill as well. Shower is a little small but otherwise fine. Has Starlink Internet which is huge for speed and streaming. Had some issues with voice dropping on MS Teams but the cell coverage in the area (Verizon) is good enough to get a stable voice connection.'
