"We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The grounds are lovely and well maintained, and the large swimming pool is a real plus. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and having a kitchen was very convenient. The parking was also easy and convenient, which was especially useful as we had a rental car. The staff were polite and helpful, and we enjoyed the breakfast. We only tried dinner at the hotel once. It was fine, but there are several good restaurants nearby, and we personally preferred the options outside the hotel. One negative point was the old air-conditioning unit, which was quite noisy and made it difficult to sleep. Also, at check-out, a €1 charity donation was added to our bill without asking us or informing us beforehand what the charge was for. We only noticed it when checking the bill. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the hotel to be a comfortable and convenient base for exploring Madeira."

"Top hotel. Alles schoon. Goed ontbijt en schoonmaak. Locatie ook goed. Auto aanbevolen op Madeira, parkeren kost wel geld bij het hotel."

"This property has one of the best views out there in Madeira, which is saying a lot. The sea in all its aggressive glory crashing into the base of your room, the cliffs standing defiant and the beautiful natural pools, its all very postcard. Unfortunately aggressive seas meant we could not enjoy the natural pools. The indoor pool ofcourse is no match for the natural pools but we had a great time here nonetheless. The food was also quite top notch and we enjoyed every meal here. Th staff in the hotel as well as the restaurant were super polite, professional and helpful. A very pleasant stay overall, and the view and hospitality will both stay with us!"
