AIRPORT SUGGESTIONS
(LGB) Long Beach Airport - (15 minutes from property)
(SNA) Orange County Airport is (30 minutes from property)
(LAX) Los Angeles Inter. Airport (35 minutes from property - shuttle to car rental locations)


Timewise, LGB is much easier getting 'in and out' of than LAX as it's much smaller and very close to our cottage. SNA (also known as John Wayne Airport) is also a smaller airport and located in Orange County. Timeframes can vary depending on time of day and current traffic conditions.

We had an amazing stay at Madison De Fleurs. The house and gardens are beautiful and peaceful. We had our meals outside on the rear patio which was quiet and relaxing. The chefs kitchen had everything needed for a gourmet meal. Hostess Kelly was great to work with and immediately responded to questions about the house and the area. Belmont Shores is a delightful area for foodies and music lovers. The beach is an easy ten minute walk as well.

Absolutely gorgeous, a real escape with spacious and comfortable living area and great kitchen. The bedrooms provided a real sanctuary with good quality bed linen and room for the family. The garden is a real treat. Cannot recommend the house or the location enough. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Loved it.

Really enjoyed our stay in LB. Home has older charm with well selected furnishings, bedding & decor. Bed was very comfortable after a day at the beach or site seeing. Close to 2nd St for restaurants & shops, nice beach about 4 blocks away. Beach towels & beach chairs available. Back yard is wonderfully landscaped with plants & flowers which provide shade, very comfortable even during summer temps; unexpected in an urban setting and added a nice touch. Nice extension of the living space to enjoy the outdoors. Kelly was very responsive and provided suggestions and info for us during our stay.

A Delightful Cottage

This cottage is perfect for your Long Beach vacation. It is spotlessly clean, has device chargers in nearly every room and a stunning Zen garden/courtyard. The pictures in the description are excellent, but seeing this home in person will blow you away! The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, and the linens are quite nice. Anything you need for a beach day is provided (the beach is a short walk away). The neighborhood cannot be topped. It is a short walk to several awesome restaurants, bakeries and cute shops. Even though we did not have a car, knowing there is a garage would take away a huge burden of having to park. Kelly is a top notch host, was amazing to work with, prompt with her responses and has a fantastic binder of menus of local restaurants (which is not common in many rentals). This was our first trip to Long Beach and we fell in love with the city. We will definitely be back and we would love to stay in this lovely cottage once again. By the way, the display of old sea captain figurines is adorable! Thanks again, Kelly!

Perfection in Belmont Shore!

We absolutely loved everything about this beautiful cottage. It's right off Second Street, so getting to shops and restaurants was a breeze, and the beach was about a 10-minute walk. Kelly has poured her heart into this home and garden space, and it shows! The back patio is a dream garden, and the interior is a fabulous mix of antiques and beach vibe. Kelly made sure that we had everything we needed, and even left vases of fresh cut flowers in every room, straight from the yard.

Great stay family with young children

Our stay at Kelly’s home in Belmont Shore was absolutely fantastic! We have stayed at 7-8 VRBO homes and Kelly was absolutely great. From communication, information on the area, cleanliness, overall just felt like home and was super welcoming. While I can see this area being a great spot for adults (bars, restaurants) nearby, we really enjoyed it with our two kids (3,5). You can walk to a kid friendly beach, visited the Long Beach aquarium, Knott’s Berry Farm, as well as plenty of other things a close drive away. Again property was comfy, clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely recommend to family and friends and plan to go back in the future. If you are interested in visiting this area you can’t go wrong with this home!

Charming! Perfect place for Long Beach stay!

This is the most adorable little bungalow. Only 3 houses from 2nd street. House is decorated beautifully but even more than that we LOVED the courtyard! It is immaculately landscaped and the flowers were gorgeous. I drank coffee every morning with the scent of the jasmine waking me up. Host was extremely attentive with great instructions on how to find the alley with the garage. I was given advice to not book a place without parking and that was correct! I’ve been telling everyone I know to go to Belmont Shore and book this house!

Delightful house with a great host

We were delighted with Maison de Fleurs from first seeing it - very attractive - to opening the door and being pleasantly surprised by how spacious it is. And it is really a home from home, delightfully furnished and well-equipped. The rear courtyard garden is also a delight. We slept very well in the huge master and the house was very peaceful. The location could not be be bettered, a minute from 2nd Strret's shops and restaurants and bars and a short walk to the beach. Just perfect.

Lovely home, close to restaurants and beach

Our stay was great! The property was clean and close to many restaurants and the beach. We enjoyed the outdoor space and accessibility to 2nd Street. Kelly was communicative and friendly. I would definitely recommend! We hope to be back.

Always a great stay!

This is our 2nd year staying here. We go to Long Beach for a Bbq competition at Famous Dave’s. This home is perfect and never disappoints. There is some kind of WINNING vibe in this home as we Won last year and again this year! Always clean and completely stocked with everyday items you need. Stay here and you won’t regret it.

Fun stay in Belmont Shore!

First off, we enjoyed our stay and would 100% stay at Kelly’s fantastic bungalow again! It was clean, very cute, and had everything we wanted in a long weekend vacation rental. One thing I would like to note, that is mentioned n the description but not particularly well, is that the master bedroom is accessed through the 2nd bedroom. It wasn’t a huge problem for our group but was not ideal. Additionally, the listing is incorrect in some parts (so again confusing, or misleading if you don’t read the full description) about what the 2nd bathroom in the master has as far as amenities. There is NOT a shower in the 2nd bathroom, just a sink and a toilet. Again this worked fine for our group but wasn’t ideal. Just to emphasize, we enjoyed our stay and Kelly’s house was great, but I felt the listing description could be more clear.

Great Location

Property is in a great location, literally steps from 2nd St. And a short walk to the beach. The house itself was perfect, 3 large bedrooms, a backyard that is amazing and all the amenities. Kelly was responsive from the moment we reserved the place and was the perfect host. Strongly recommend this place, everything was perfect.

LA vacation with family

We had a great time. The property is fantastic and worked well for us with 2 kids (3-5), especially the beautiful and secure back yard. Will stay again!
