Experience was AWFUL. I asked the owner before we booked and traveled if the swim spa was working because one of the past recent reviews said it wasn't- they assured me it was - when we arrived it was empty full of debris and inoperable. The management co said it was recently broke by the last visitor. I just asked two days before we arrived! The kitchen was filthy including rat droppings on the dining room table and chairs which i immediately notified the management company & owner about and they did nothing. The silverware in the drawer was dirty, the dishwasher was disgusting and the refrigerator smelled. The upstairs shower was broken and did not work. There were spiders in the bed upstairs and the window was broken- it would not close. The back door did not lock. I repeatedly reached out to the management company and they offered me a one hour late check out. I would NOT recommend this property to anyone. It was a horrible experience !!

The kitchen wasn’t clean. There were ants all over that we had to spray. The dishwasher didn’t work properly. There was damage to sink drains and floor vents weren’t secured by screws. My 88 year old mother-in-law tripped over one in the living room and thankfully caught her own fall on a chair. A swim spa was advertised and was trashed and obviously hadn’t been working for some time. Location is great but no money has been put into repairs on this place for some time! VRBO beware!

Great for large family close to Caltech

Was there with family for the Caltech graduation and the living spaces were ideal. Only one bathroom on top floor so need to have family that are ok sharing. 1st floor bedrooms are great with privacy and lots of light. Also enjoyed the patio seating area for comfortable conversations.

Nervous and Unsure and Disappointed

First let me say that this is the first time I have ever used a VRBO.So I had no idea what I was doing or what to expect. All I knew was that my whole family could stay together and make this a great time for all. After all my second oldest was getting married and this was the answer to everyone being able to come. I was expecting to have similar hotel things. Staying a week ment your usual supplies, towels, toilet paper, soap,( both body and dishes&laundry) TV ( which there was just not cable). There was no information in regards to trash, recycling and other things like where is the iron and table? Where is the broom.When I first approach the residence I thought very nice. Lots of rooms for everyone and my granddaughter had lots of room to run. But after a few nights things started to change. Showers need to be fixed, grounds need more attention. Never used BBQ and wouldn't. This house is on a corner of a busy street, lots of noise. The house needs exterior renovation. Interior floors need repair. This was mentioned to host and hopefully repaired.We had issues with electrical in the main living area and the main door lock. The Host was quick to respond but took a couple of days to get it right. I'm a no nonsense kinda of person. And under the circumstances I had to accept the terms of VRBO. Paid upfront and had 7 people under my supervision for a week. So when they start complaining I felt let down. I can't just leave like a could at a hotel. Lesson learnt.

Great Craftsman home in Historic Pasadena Neighborhood.

The house is beautiful, has lots of amenities. Lots of bedrooms and lots of cool historical doors and built ins. Decorated and cozy. A backyard that needs a little bit of maintenance before Summer hits. A very long well maintained swim spa and BBQ. It is just a great place to spend time with family. It is on a busy street but the neighborhood definitely makes up for it. There are cool coffee places a fantastic cafe and old town Pasadena just 10 mins away. There are some things that need to be fixed or maintained inside the home, but with a little TLC this place can be a rental to come back to year after year.

Our family enjoyed bring in a home where we could spread out. Two conversation and two eating areas as described. Off street parking, can walk to cafes. On a busy street but that wasn’t a problem

Great but room for improvement

Great location and very spacious. Lots of bright roomy bedrooms. Love the original craftsman features but many are worn or painted over. Several items broken or not working properly upon arrival including porch shades torn, one first floor toilet not flushing, bathroom sink clogged, rear screen door latch and closer. With more attention to details this could be a really great place.

Never stayed. Only stuck on the sidewalk thanks to VRBO. Left us to fend for ourselves with four small children that had been on a plane all day. Really ruined our trip.

A reunion of friends

A gathering of six longtime friends, this was a perfect house for us to stay in. We were able to walk to nearby eateries, sit out on the porch or in the living room and visit. We were very pleased. Please have the property manager contact me. There are some very simple "fixes" that I would like to make her aware of.

The house was already said to be and more! The house was clean and neat and easy to maintain. My grandsons loved the hot tub. The location was marvelous! Wonderful neighborhood, very easy, access to stores and shop.

Beautiful Home but Needs Better Linen Management

This home was fabulous! Very clean. Beautiful area. Convenient walking to coffee, breakfast and a Rite-Aid for those necessary travel extra's. Parking was tight but given the area, very workable. Unfortunately, it lacked in what I consider necessary details to make it a 5 Star Experience. We had a party of 9 arriving for a busy wedding week, and I would have expected 9-18 sets of towels for the guests. But, there were NO sets! There were several fun beach towels, I assume for a little extra hot tub experience, but not even nine of those. I am not sure if I was communicating with the owner, or a third party, but it took a several Vrbo messages plus a day to get a 8 new hand towels and facecloths to the Vrbo, which then needed washing before use! Also, the queen bed sheets did not fit. We looked for queen sheets in the "Queen Sheet" bin, but we only found full sets. It was unacceptable to have the sheets pop off throughout the night and have to pull like Hercules to make the bed. There were also a few house repairs that should be addressed soon: a missing outlet cover in the living room and the filtered water spigot at the Kitchen sink. It was unattached and appeared at risk of a major plumbing incident! There were other little bits that I was willing to work around, but having enough clean towels and sheets that fit the beds, I think, should be a minimum for the price paid for the Vrbo.

Bungalow for a group

The house was charming and spacious for a group of 6 adults. Plenty of room to spread out but also hangout as a group. Large front porch and very spacious backyard area. Plus we enjoyed walking across the street to coffee shop, donut shop, and nice lunch/ breakfast restaurant. Location was perfect for us!
