'Aangezien de boot van Puerto Ayora vroeg in de ochtend arriveerde, konden we ook al eerder inchecken (vonden we netjes). De schoonmaakster ontving ons met de sleutel. Het appartement werd na 3 dagen intensief schoongemaakt; dit geldt voor gasten die langer dan 3 dagen blijven. De bedden waren weg goed (stevig). Het was wel warm, maar de ventilatoren maakten veel goed). Airco was wel fijn geweest, maar niet noodzakelijk, gezien de duurzame gedache achter het hele 'Chez Manany'...

'We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Flip Flop House. It’s conveniently located only a few blocks from town and the beach. The check in was incredibly easy and the owners kept in constant contact with us during our stay, which was helpful. There was also a 3 ring binder in the home describing every possible thing imaginable to make our stay easier. The home was extremely roomy and comfortable and Netflix was available to wind down the evening. The washer/dryer came in very handy as well. ...

'We loved staying at Sandy Feet! We were 4 adults there for 5 nights. The view was incredible and we enjoyed it even on the rainy days. I do wish that given there is capacity for 4-6 people that there were 2 more lounge chairs. It was just a little awkward when more than 2 of us wanted to sit outside *not* in the hammocks. 'Abel was very kind and flexible when I checked in. The view from my room was amazing!! The facility was nice for the cost. The only drawback was that the WiFi didn’t reach to my room, so I had to stay by the lobby in order to use it. I understand that this is the exception and most of the other rooms on the property can use the WiFi from the room. '

'Hotel Volcano is in a great location close to shopping, food, and the beach. We had a lovely stay here and the included breakfast was great. We had some difficulty booking from outside the country though. Even through I booked through hotels.com, they made me call and pay with my card by phone which I didn’t feel comfortable with. In the end everything worked out but I booked through hotels.com to avoid putting my card info out there. '

'We moved this place, from its location right across the beach, to the decor and service. The place is spotless and the room’s decor and furnishing were top notch. Comfortable beds and the perfect view. Our room led to a mini jacuzzi and it was perfect for relaxing after a day full of tours and activities. Rebekka and the while staff were very kind, diligent and professional. I highly recommend this place. Worth the price. '

Personeel was echter niet super behulpzaam en reageerde cynisch op vragen en bij het opnemen van bestellingen. Diner is aan de zeekant terwijl het vroeg donker is. Ontbijt was aan de achterkant in een relatief sfeerloze zaal waarbij het zonde is dat ze dit niet aan de voorkant doen zodat je het uitzicht hebt. Kamers waren niet helemaal schoon, veel stof en vloer was helaas vies."
