'We loved staying at the Nicolas. The room was so cozy and comfortable and the lobby was equipped with seltzer and snacks. Great location but off the main drag so the hotel was very quiet. '

'Water's Edge is a diamond in Folly with a fulsome breakfast. It's only a few blocks walk to the beach but also hidden on a side street away from traffic. I loved this place, especially my Atlantic room that had a jacuzzi tub and a view from the balcony of marshes. I slept like a baby and was made to feel very welcome by the staff. It's a classic B and B in every way. You can't beat it in Folly.'

'The room was booked through VRBO in Expedia and therefore I did not engage with staff other then when I tried to check in and they notified me it was through VRBO. VRBO host was good and provided clear directives once I contacted them. The hotel had many standard features such as indoor and outdoor pools, but the indoor pools "looked" dirty. Considering it is on the beach, this is the best feature. and all outdoor pools and lounge areas were clean... but I wish the had the food and rink kiosks...

The place was exactly as described—spotlessly clean and in a fantastic location, walkable to King Street and several great restaurants. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the convenient parking was a huge plus. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Charleston.'
