'Shem Creek Inn was the perfect place for me and my son to stay for catching a charter boat to Crab Bank and for visiting Charleston. The hotel was clean, modern, and beautifully located on the creek with loads of pelicans and other birds flying by. Nicole at check in was super helpful and friendly, and the self-serve breakfast had better options for us than, for example, a Holiday Inn Express. Parking was a breeze in December, and plenty of good restaurants close by. I'd certainly stay here...

'This is our second time staying here with our dog and we can't say enough positive things about the experience. The hotel is very dog friendly, with some rooms having direct access to the dog friendly walking and play area. Doggy poo bags and disposal stations are available. They even welcome your pet with treats! Additionally, the rooms are recently remodeled, spacious and clean. Breakfast is included but we never make it over in time! If it is anything like the rest of the hotel, I am sure...

'My family and I stayed 3 nights . The hotel was located In the heart of shopping and restaurants which was all walkable. The breakfast was probably the best I’ve had for hotel breakfast, lots of variety and everything tasted good. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were also very friendly. Also only a 15-20 min ride to downtown Charleston. We will definitely be back. '
