'This is an amazing property (staff, location, amenities), but the food and beverage quality is sorely lacking. Overall: Every drink is at least $16. Mind you, this is a no-frills mixed drink marketed as a cocktail. I use the word "cocktail" here very loosely. I guess this is to be expected; you're on an island. Seaview Terrace: Food was served on plastic plates (unclear why; it's nowhere near the pool) and was served lukewarm. Ilima Terrace (breakfast buffet): $52 per person and everything's...

'Wonderful views across the two bays including Hanalei Bay. Lanai so we could enjoy the fresh air. This is real Hawaii not the big resorts. Provided beach chairs & umbrella for our outings. Small, quaint and quiet. '

'We enjoyed the cabin a lot, especially the kitchen is a nice area to sit and go over the day ahead or past. The resort is easy to find, easy to check-in, east to navigate on foot, Waimea itself is within walking distance and has the basics like 2 supermarkets and a few eating options. Location is within a minute from the start of Waimea Canyon Drive, but if you want to visit the North Coast, then it does take an hour/hour and a half driving there. For us this was not an issue.'

'Lava Lava is on site for all meals and is great.property is Quiet by ten every night except for the surf which is just a few steps past the restaurant. Small but very nice rooms with everything that’s needed. Parking is in short supply but they do have valet. Best staff I’ve ever encountered. So kind and helpful! '

'I got a really nice Condominium (look’s like a house) doble floor, doble bedroom, doble bathroom and a nice view to the sea. You need to drive like 20 min far away to find a nice place to swing but it is an small island. Behind the hotel it is an amazing place to eat, the name is Kauai Boba & Barbecue( delicious and amazing people). '

'Had another amazing stay at the Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach. This is my 5th stay and not my last. Prob my fave accommodations on the island due to the amenities, location & service. Mahalo nui loa!'

'Geweldig vriendelijk personeel. We waren laat met check-in, dus er was niemand meer aanwezig, maar ze hadden onze info op de deur van de receptie gehangen met een vriendelijk bericht. De ochtend erna tegelijk in- en uitchecken (we verbleven maar één nacht) was geen probleem.'
