'In general the property was quite nice. Rooms are spacious if somewhat run down (they were doing some renovations though so that might be solved soon). It is in a nice location by the ocean and the bar/restaurant was very enjoyable with good staff. The pool is somewhat small but acceptable, the private lagoon somewhat makes up for this though (it is also a great place to try out your snorkel before going into the ocean). 'We really enjoyed our stay at the Outrigger in Kona. We stayed in an Ocean View Room for four nights. The lanai was large with a table. The rooms were clean and spacious. We loved the pool with the Ocean View and the slide. The store/coffee shop onsite was helpful. We ate at the restaurant for our anniversary dinner. The food was a little on the expensive side but was delicious. We would definitely stay here again.'
