'In general the property was quite nice. Rooms are spacious if somewhat run down (they were doing some renovations though so that might be solved soon). It is in a nice location by the ocean and the bar/restaurant was very enjoyable with good staff. The pool is somewhat small but acceptable, the private lagoon somewhat makes up for this though (it is also a great place to try out your snorkel before going into the ocean). 'Overall great stay. Recently renovated rooms, amazing ocean views, and peaceful location away from the more touristy area of Kailua-Kona. Breakfast was tasty at their Piko restaurant. We didn't have a chance to get dinner there during our short stay, but the menu looked good. Keauhou shopping center is about 6 minutes away, so if you need to run to the store, you don't have to go far. There is also a small store on site at the hotel with some clothes and snacks.
