Ranches in Jones Beach Island

'This is an older motel & spartan by hotel standards. However, it was clean, Clean, CLEAN. Did I say clean? In some cases, you can smell the disinfectant. But that's ok by me, because that let's me know it has been cleaned. I stayed 2 nights, 2 different rooms. The rooms aren't nothing to write home about; no art work on the walls, no alarm/clock radio, no coffee machine in the room. Rooms could use a little dab of paint here & there to make it pop. However it DID have a small fridge & microwave....

'Econolodge is a budget hotel (in spite of the 150 pn) and the rooms were clean, sufficient towels. The householdstaff was friendly, the bathroom clean. There was a microwave and a fridge. We were very satisfied in spite of the noise of the ac which we switched off. At a ten minutes walk there is a good Stop n Shop'

'The room rate was expensive for what you get. The hotel lobby was nice. After check in they sent a text asking how everything was going and if we needed anything. I did not reply but should have let them know that the room had a musty/moldy smell. Rooms were dated. Also we were getting in late each evening and the door lobby door remained unlocked, you did not need to use the key pad and there was not a person at the front desk to monitor the door.
