Jack Kaiser Stadium

My experience at Collective Retreats on Governors Island was unfortunately not as enjoyable as I had hoped. The location is beautiful, but I was unable to sleep well because the bed was somewhat uncomfortable. Around 4:00 a.m., construction trucks and loud construction activity started, which made it very difficult to rest. I think the experience would have been better if the staff had informed guests in advance that construction work was taking place, especially during the early morning hours. Knowing this beforehand would have allowed me to set my expectations accordingly. Overall, I think the location has a lot of potential, but the lack of sleep and unexpected construction noise significantly affected my stay.
