'Clean private well appointed...porch has an close up ocean view...kitchen dining room too.. the sounds of the ocean waves truly lulled us tp rest and sleep on between our adventures.'

'This is a great place to stay to get away from it all! Close enough to Hilo to get back into the all of you want. We also wound up driving north around the island to the west side a bit more than towards Hilo. Just sitting on the porch and looking out at the sky & ocean was so peaceful. Wish we had better weather. Got 1.5 sunrises and one night starry sky out of 7 nights but, that was only the fault of Mother Nature. Still so peaceful in the rain. The cottage itself is fine for two people, tho...

It is close to the National Park, so you can zip over to take in a hike or two, come back and eat lunch, and go again. We didn't watch TV, but the DVD library was impressive. 'It is charming in a rustic way. It was smaller than we thought and the only heat in the living room and kitchen was a wood burning stove so we spent a lot of time and energy trying to stay warm. The first 2 days there was no live TV but a new spectrum box was brought in. Theresa, the property manager was very accommodating.'

'This is a great place to stay! Walking distance to the beach! Beautiful View from the bedroom and lanai! Comfortable bed! Everything that you could need for cooking, snorkeling, and just enjoying your stay without having to drive anywhere if you don't want to! I would definitely stay here again!'
