'Het bed was kapot en aan elkaar vast met plastic en planken kei hard. De vloer had vlekken. Werd beloofd uitzicht over de stad keken tegen een blinde muur. De heele nacht en ochtend lawai van het alarm van een auto die om de 10 min of minder afging...geen leuk verblijf.'

'This is a great place to stay on a budget. The owner stayed up late for us after we had a flight delay, we arrived at about 2230. The room is large, the bathroom works and they provide breakfast to your room at 0700. They also can arrange your underground river tour, they walk you straightaway to the boat. Also, know going in that it is a small budget place in the jungle, they may or may not have any hot water. '

'We stayed here as a family of 4, we were received with a smile and had every request taken care of by the dedicated staff. Great value for money!'

'Overall the stay was ok except for thin blanket in aircon room, didn’t realise how many stairs I had to climb to get to second floor as was not good for me so won’t be staying there again, location great as lots of local shops around for food shopping so ideal for young people or backpackers '

'We are so happy that we chose to stay at Bayview Country Inn at El Nido. All the staff are friendly, (thank you everyone), food are so yummy, our room is so clean, bathroom and toilets are clean too. I highly recommend this hotel. '

'Lovely well cared for hotel with amazing staff that were always there for your needs.Airport transportation is free and Frank the owner was there to greet you and help you feel very welcome.Restaurant food were delicious and delivered to your room as you wish.Mosquitoes were a plenty in the evening so bring insect repellent.Otherwise we enjoyed our stay comfortably.Highly recommend this to those who loves a quiet place…immaculately clean and spacious room!Will stay again when we visit Bohol!Many...

'It’s called “Bills Tourist Inn” so we thought they would have some info about anything. They couldn’t help with tours, any information about what and where to go and couldn’t even recommend a good restaurant, so we were on our own. Hot water would come and go and there wasn’t any WiFi to help us figure things out. We basically had to walk into the Main Street for everything anyway so we should have just stayed closer. '

"I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. As soon as I entered the hallway, there was a strange and unpleasant smell, which I also noticed in the room. After a long journey and arriving at 3:00 AM, I was exhausted and hoping for a comfortable stay. However, the odor made it impossible to relax. Extremely disappointing experience, and I would not stay here again."

Worst hotel in Manilla

"The hotel itself is nice and in a good location, but the rooms, staff and food are terrible. The rooms have a smoke detector with super bright blinking light which turns your room into a kind of night disco making it impossible to sleep. Also staff knock on your door at 8 in the morning for a mysterious"room inspection" despite the do not disturb sign being on. The food from room service and the pool bar are also not great."

"I had a lovely stay in The Reef - what a beautiful place! Very nice rooms, fine breakfast, very warm and friendly staff, and very easy access to great snorkeling. One point of attention - when the staff orders a taxi, they automatically order a luxury taxi which is double as expensive as a white taxi. As you need to pay taxis with cash, this can lead to a negative surprise when you are low on cash (for me, on my trip to the airport going back)"
