'Hotel is quite expensive for what you get. Bathroom needs an upgrade water all over floor when showering and very dark with insufficient lighting and very few places to put your stuff. Quite noisy at night quadruple glazing fitted but when closed of course no fresh air. Staff very good and helpful. Breakfast could do with kippers on the menu especially being a Manx hotel with wet fish shop close by. '

'An absolute gem, staff in all areas were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The chef is topnotch and produces an excellent range of dinner choices. Would wholeheartedly recommend the hotel. Great local beer. Handy cinema just across the road. Would definitely stay here again on my next visit to the Isle of Man.'

'Great location. Parking space on car park to the rear. Spotlessly clean. William the receptionist / caretaker was excellent. Has everything you need. However, it sells itself as a luxury apartment and it doesn’t live up to it. Eg. In the bedroom there is only one bedside table and lamp. On one corner of the bed there is only six inches in which to get past. The wardrobe is not great quality and the sliding door comes of it’s rail easily. ( can also be put back easily but.. ) in the living...
