The property seems quite old and has some quirks, but it is clean, quiet, and well maintained, with gorgeous smelling star jasmine bushes and succulents just outside the front porch, windows with stained glass over the stairs, and an open air porch on each upper floor with wicker chairs and a view of Avalon harbor. « J’avais réservé une chambre studio, avec équipement de cuisine complet et j’ai eu une chambre simplement. On ventait le bon café Starbucks qui m’attendrait dans la chambre, mais seul un café cheap d’une marque inconnue m’attendait. »

« Every thing was great! The room is smallish but comfortable. There is a balcony with a view but it’s only 2ft deep so really not possible to sit on it. The roof top deck is terrific and we enjoyed bkfst and a glass of wine later in the day out there. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only caution is that there is a short hill ( maybe .25 miles) leading to it. For some dragging a bag up it can be difficult. »
