Luxe hotels in Catalina Island

'First time at the Atwater, won’t be our last. Staff was extremely helpful. Facilities were great, a truly beautiful hotel. Rooms were as advertised. Close to main thoroughfare. Recommend to all.'

'Charming and clean. We love the age of this hotel. So much character. The bed was comfortable and we were happy to have a kitchen. The staff is friendly, helpful, and take care of the beautiful flowers and outdoor space. It is also a close walk to the grocery store.'

'Hotel is in a great location! I was not impressed with my room though. It smelled musty and was dark since it was on the first floor off of the courtyard. It was okay for a night stay. The complementary snack room was great. The courtyard had outdoor furniture and an awesome fire pit that was very nice and cozy. Overall very good experience!'

'The hotel and property itself was okay. The room we stayed in - 509, was not clean. The restroom smelled dirty and the toilet would not flush. The bed sheets were stained, which we did not notice until the day of check out. All the front desk workers were rude and passive aggressive. I had asked for complimentary water (other hotels have offered this) and the lady responded rudely that they sold them behind me. Overall, not the greatest experience.'

'Very close to everything.'

'The staff were so sweet, kind and helpful to the moment we checked in to when we checked out.'

'Very nice guests, cosy envoirement, good/friendly service'

'Incredible experience! Entering the cove at Two Harbors reminded me of maybe a place in the South Pacific - Palm trees, mountains all around, beautiful blue water. Getting off of the ferry we were met by Abby, who anticipated our arrival and brought us up to the Lodge. The staff was available to help with every request and always greeted us with a smile. The Lodge is an Arts and Crafts former hunting lodge, built in the early 1900's. Every room within has a view of the ocean in either direction....

'We had a wonderful experience at Snug Harbor Inn! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Avalon, with beautiful surroundings and a charming, relaxing atmosphere. The property has a lovely boutique feel that makes it perfect for a romantic getaway. What truly makes this place special is its intimate atmosphere and attention to detail. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind, enjoy the beauty of Catalina Island, and create wonderful memories. I would highly recommend Snug Harbor...

'The room needed some deep cleaning, I stretched my arm and touched the headboard and my fingers got dirty from the dust, needed a good vacuum and new carpet, carpet cleaning, furniture was very worn. Some of the staff was very nice, while others seemed like they were not well trained in customer service. Great location, no beach view. Very comfortable bed, very quiet.'

'It was great love the place'

'The hotel is beautiful. I love the fact that it has held up over time to be available for guests now. Truly helps you be able to visualize how the stars who visited the island were experiencing it. The rooms are quaint but very lovely. There's no A/C but the sea aur cools the room very nicely. The hotel is very quiet. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!'

'Toen ik wilde inchecken om 1915 was er helaas niemand aanwezig. Na het bellen van het nummer werd ik 10 minuten later geholpen door twee hele aardige en behulpzame mensen. Ik kreeg een kamer upgrade, kingsize met balkon. Een ruime en schone kamer. Hotel ligt op een fijne centrale plek in Avalon met alle voorzieningen op loopafstand. '

'Staff was very nice and helpful clean room I will stay again in this hotel'

'Very old hotel that needs major upgrades. We stayed in a small cabin. The shower was so small, you could not turnaround in it without banging into the wall.'
