'We have been coming to Sarasota for many years and have stayed in different locations around the city, including on the keys. The Mermaid Cottage was exactly what we have been looking for with close proximity to the beach, quiet neighborhood, and easy access to get around to other locations. The location just over the north bridge to Siesta Key was ideal and allows you to be on the beach in less that ten minutes from leaving the driveway. 'We were here with our two young kids (4&6). Area is peacefull. The cottage was everything we needed: luxurious, very clean and unexpected ammenities provided our every need. Pleasant surprise to find some snacks and the fridge stocked with cold beers. Shared garden with bbq was great. We used the beach cart with umbrella and chairs for our beach visits (5m walk). 'For our girls getaway we like to have a pool, the ocean, a comfortable place to stay and a deck with a view to read and relax. The place was very comfortable, the pool was great, the ocean a 1/2 mile walk and the lanai was nice as well. There wasn't much of a view as it overlooked the main road - which you can't tell from the pictures. Overall a great place to stay and experience Siesta Key.'

'my friends and I traveled from across the country to meet for our annual “girls” trip. Location is amazing. You can walk to the beach, you can rent cabanas and there are lounge chairs for your use. The pool is sparkling and the trolley stop is right outside the property entrance. I just love Siesta key and this is a wonderful place to get away from it all, but have easy access to all of the fun and shopping. '

"Groot, luxe hotel met vriendelijke ontvangst. Groot parkeerterrein. Grote kamer met breed, fijn bed en goede kussens. Grote TV met veel zenders, magnetron en koelkast aanwezig. Geen kluisje. Volop aflegmogelijkheden. Grote bank en zitje aanwezig. Superfijne en stille airco. Veel stopcontacten. Snelle wifi. Ruime badkamer met dubbele wastafels. Douche in bad en schuifbaar douchescherm. Gratis badartikelen. Elke dag schone handdoeken en schoonmaken van de kamer. We wilden graag 1 dagje naar het strand en we kregen strandstoeltjes, Parasol en strandhandoeken aangeboden. Buitenzwembad aanwezig. Ontbijt is in een gezellige ruimte en is vrij uitgebreid met verse wafels en pancakes."
