The owner explained everything in our room. A service that we never experienced before. Parking was free which is a huge bonus.'

'This hotel was rated highly and priced as though it was a high end property - it is not. It is an ancient chateau remodeled into a 1970s motel with amateur carpentry. Upon arrival the manager attempted to upsell us on-site breakfast and booking a dinner reservation through her website instead of showing us to our room. Our room was surprising, as it was not attractive or comfortable. There was a giant space heater to be plugged in because the proprietor turns off the heat at night - in December!...

'Positive: literally 5’ walk to entrance of Carcassonne! Car parking was very good and save. Breakfast was in the main hotel across the street with a stunning view of the city as background. Nice breakfast served at the table, plenty of choice. Nice garden to sit and relax good sized pool area. EXTREMELY nice personnel at reception and breakfast area! Negative: we stayed in a deluxe room in the ***star Mommerency. Small rooms/bathroom, noisy at times, clean but tired looking. Shower/bath:...

'Un véritable coup de cœur. Ce lieu est une recommandation absolue, pour absolument tout : la situation, l’accueil chaleureux, le confort et le délicieux petit-déjeuner. Nous avons réservé à la toute dernière minute et avons pourtant vécu un week-end merveilleux à Saint‑Jean‑de‑Paracol, tout près de Rouvenac. Un endroit d’exception, où l’on se sent immédiatement bien. Un vrai haut niveau, à tous points de vue.'
