« What a delightful stay from start to finish. We’ve stayed in a few places during our travels over the past couple of weeks and the Oakhill Hotel outshines them all. We received an exceptional welcome by the staff and their professionalism and friendliness was consistent throughout our stay. « We welcomed the useful car park with my daughter’s pending wedding and ease of access to town. Room was clean but very hot although fan was provided but noisy overnight and didn’t rotate & only one window opened - Despite this and noisy guests in proximity - everything else was good. Breakfast and staff were helpful and especially at breakfast the staff member was pleasant and I noted took time to talk to guests and was very amenable. « Unfortunately I was disappointed at our stay in Matlock Bath. On arrival we could not get access to the place until a lady came from another building to let us in. Since the beginning of August we were told by visiting member of a team that there is no staff on sight and an email was sent in the morning to my home with a code to get access to the building and get a key for our room.
