'We stayed in the suite and it was so beautiful we booked for an hour there night. Friendly and helpful staff and our room was clean and cosy. Breakfast was okay, but would've like to have seen a selection of mini cakes/biscuits and fresh fruits to the selection, just to give more of a variety and also some fresh juice in addition to the cordial, tea and coffee on offer. However an enjoyable and pleasant stay and would love to return. '

'Plenty and easy parking. When I entered the bar, I was confronted with Theakstone's on draught, real ale, which is one of my all time favourites (only temporarily available) so I knew that my stay was going to be excellent. Nice food, very friendly staff and nice breakfast. It was my first stay, but hopefully not my last. My routing when travelling in the UK varies, but I hope I can include the Forest Lodge in my future travel plans. It would be worth driving a bit extra to arrive here. '

'Excellent facilities, clean and modern room. The rooms were very warm, even with a fan. I think a thinner duvet for the summer would be a good call. Food in the restaurant was very good however the services was quite poor. Granted it was a busy Saturday night but the services for drinks and ordering food was very slow and we felt forgotten about. We didn’t get asked if we would like to see the dessert menu and if we hadn’t had asked for the bill we would have been waiting all night. All in all...

'The staff were lovely, helpful, visible and polite. The food was great for the 50% off which it was that day. The restaurant, reception and room no complaints at all. The only thing I could say to improve would be the stairwell to the rooms wasn’t hoovered and didn’t look like it had been for a while. The carpet was also ripped in a couple of places. '

"De hotel en locatie zijn verder prima, perfect voor een korte reis. De lift daar en tegen was niet zo goed, het duurde telkens veel te lang voor dat ie op je verdieping was en de speakers in de lift bleven bij elke verdieping maar aangeven dat de deuren open en dicht gingen. Na een paar dagen woed dat heel vervelend."
