'Schone kamer. Mooi hotel. Vanwege werkzaamheden hele lange en omslachtige route moeten lopen naar de kamer. Goed ontbijt'

'Positives - beautiful hotel in great grounds. Had tea in the restaurant which was very good. Bed was huge. Negatives - couldn't get bath to work and my wife was kept awake during the night by noise in room next door. Use of the spa was £20 per person (which I was willing to pay) but was then told we couldn't use it until 5pm. We'd arrived at 3pm with plan to go in spa before our friends arrived later. '

'De hotel en locatie zijn verder prima, perfect voor een korte reis. De lift daar en tegen was niet zo goed, het duurde telkens veel te lang voor dat ie op je verdieping was en de speakers in de lift bleven bij elke verdieping maar aangeven dat de deuren open en dicht gingen. Na een paar dagen woed dat heel vervelend.'

'Het hotel heeft een prachtige ligging en is van vroeger uit een herenhuis geweest. De stijl is ook grotendeels behouden gebleven. Het personeel is hartstikke vriendelijk. Jammer dat de kamers zo gedateerd zijn. Ontbijt en diner zijn prima. Dinerkaart mag wel wat worden uitgebreid. '

'100% would not recommend. Tiny room, which felt like a prison cell (not that I’ve stayed in one!) sink located next to the bed along with the shower, no separate bathroom. Toilet in a cupboard! Window only opened 1” and no working aircon, just the option of more hot air being blown into an already very hot room, all whilst sleeping on a plastic mattress! Had no option but to leave the window open, which then meant you could hear the very busy road right outside, constant banging and car noise...

'Room could use an update, shower very nice! Good use an extra spark to boost atmosphere. Very convenient location, close to city centre.'

' Terrible stay. Upon arrival we had to wait to check in. No greeting, no explanation, just a key handed over by an unfriendly receptionist. Absolutely no sense of hospitality. The room was far from clean: stained bedding, mold in the bathroom, and a damaged wall. The phone didn’t even work, which meant I had to go to reception in the middle of the night when my friend became sick. The staff showed no empathy at all, even laughed at the situation, and said cleaning could only be done the next...
