'This was just a sleep and go on road trip to Myrtle beach. I biggest complaint was the room smelled like maple syrup which I do enjoy them on pancakes I don’t want to smell that all night. A lot other guests must enjoy smoking pot because the hallways reeked like pot. If that something you enjoy good for you I am just tired of smelling everywhere. It’s like the smoking and non smoking sections in restaurants along ago I prefer not smelling something else’s smoke.'

'A very acceptable stay for the price. The staff was friendly and professional, and the outside and room were clean. However, this is an older, worn hotel in need of updating. It also appears that the new management is only making the necessary repairs at this time - for example, they had replaced some of the tiles in the bath surround with white tiles but did not do the entire surround, so parts were different colors. One bed felt very new and the other bed was almost at the end of its life....

'The hotel is rundown and doesn't offer a pleasant stay. Specifics: pillows are rock hard, towels are thin and insufficient, furniture is banged up, carpet is damp and sticky, walls are thin, full mattresses have replaced queen mattresses. We asked for more towels, since we were only provided 3 for 4 of us and one of them was wet -- the hotel had run out of towels, so gave us a bunch of hand towels and bathmats - yikes. About half the staff were helpful, the other half couldn't care less....
