'We booked the property for our second night of 4, cycling Avon and Kennet Canal. We were hoping to arrive earlier than stated check in, to make use of fridge before we set off on our bikes for the day, Alex was extremely helpful and gracious in immediately responding to our request with a yes. Everything was ready, clean and fresh, everything as listed and set out in the welcome message. Hot tub was fantastic, great after our 36 mile ride on canal tow path. 'Friendly welcome. Everything set up and ready for on arrival, including coffee, tea, milk, bread, butter & jam. The Hobbit House is tiny, but so well designed, and it just feels so cozy. Good size patio and gorgeous outdoor furniture, including chairs, side tables, table & benches, gas bbq and fire pits with logs. Really, just the perfect rural retreat. Pub (The Rising Sun) and local shop within walking distance. We're already planning our return!'

'We had a fab stay, the cabin was clean, tidy, fresh, and had everything we needed. Spec was high. Owner very helpful in allowing us to arrive earlier than check in, do we could put food in the fridge to cool and so we could set off on our bikes for the day.The hot tub was fabulous, especially after 30 miles on a bike and views to die for. The location was perfect for us, peaceful and quiet'
