'We had a lovely stay at the chequers Inn, Rookley. The staff were great, couldn't do enough for us.'

'Room very clean & tidy looks like a recent refurbish which was very well done , the only thing was the mattresses could do with renewing , which is the only negative thing to say about our stay was able to help ourselves to tea ,coffee etc when needed . Could not ask for better staff , nothing to much trouble for them to do , very good choice for breakfast , never went out hungry also very good menu all round with a good choice of drinks at the bar , will definitely stay again and would highly...

'kamer wat ouder, inrichting past erbij. badkamer met bad wat ouder. met douche later opgeknapt. geweldige keuken met vriendelijk personeel. hoge kwaliteit voedsel en vers. midden in de natuur, je wordt wakker met paarden of koeien onder je raam. een aanrader voor iedereen die van landelijk houd en heerlijk wil ontspannen in de natuur.'

'Situated in the heart of Cowes right on the High Street. We stayed here one night to attend a family party. It was perfect for 1 night, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The Anchor is a lively, popular pub serving local beers and weekly live music. The room had some ear plugs provided but we didn't need them, a nice thought though.'

'The room (11) was a bit small. but mostly clean. the bed was comfy. The breakfast was good and the meals in the evening were good.'

'This is a beautifully situated old mill on a gentle stream with gorgeous grounds. Idyllic. Just outside Lymington but a short 8 minute drive into town or to the ferry. Dinner was good with excellent service. Nice room, comfy beds, good bathroom. We were there on the hottest day of the year so it was very hot in the room but a fan was provided which helped.'
