'Wij waren een week in Kathmandu. Het Crowne Plaza hotel ligt op een afgescheiden ommuurde eigen terrein, wat een oase van rust opleverde in een anders zeer chaotische stad. Lekker om een beetje bij te komen. Het hotel heeft een aantal prima restaurants. De kwalitiet, maar ook de prijzen daar zijn wel gewoon ' westers'. De service is uitstekend. Iedereen is zeer beleefd en behulpzaam. Bellen voor ons voor excursies, herbervestiging bij de vliegtuigmaatschappij en dergelijke was geen enkele...

'From the time I arrived, I felt comfortable. Security was in the parking lot to ensure the property was secure and people not staying at the hotel were escorted away. The check in process was very quick and easy. All staff members were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, stocked with all items needed and comfortable. 'De bedden waren zachter dan die van the guesthouse, maar nog steeds erg hard vergeleken bij de matrassen in Nederland. De kamers zijn verwisseld voor een appartement, dus die kan ik niet zo goed beoordelen. Het appartement zag er keurig uit. Helaas moest er apart betaald worden voor de sauna. Masseren en haar knippen moesten helaas contant betaald worden en konden niet op het kamernummer geboekt worden.'

'Great Hotel in the center of the city . Me and my husband really enjoyed staying at the ViaVia Boutique hotel. The hotel rooms, lobby and hallway have nice colorful Tibetan decorations and our room had smart tv, cooling/heating system and a rain shower. The quiet neighborhood has very little traffic and the breakfast is much better than all the other hotels we stayed at. Being so close to Pashupatinath, Bodnath, Kopan and Shivapuri national park makes it a good option to explore the Kathmandu...
